Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts Jan 5, 2026, and features a Monday through Thursday outpatient schedule with 7:30am to 6pm shifts. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of current dermatology experience, providing comprehensive care in a busy dermatology practice and collaborating closely with dermatologists and MOHS surgeons.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a backlog of outpatient dermatology cases
- Independently assess and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions in patients presenting to the clinic
- Collaborate with dermatologists and MOHS surgeons as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide comprehensive care to all patients, ensuring high standards of dermatology practice
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management

Additional Information
- Must have active licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in California
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in a dedicated dermatology practice is required
- Dermatology experience in an urgent care or primary care setting will not be considered
- High likelihood of assignment extension
