Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to pediatric and adolescent patients, including preventative care, acute care, chronic disease management, and health education.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose health conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and within the scope of practice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric and adolescent health issues, as well as current best practices in primary care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and clinic operations.
• Provide consultation services to other healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations on issues related to pediatric and adolescent health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the electronic health record.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of NC.
• Current DEA license with the ability to prescribe medications.
• Current certification in ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS.
