Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with bleeding disorders? Vitalant is seeking a compassionate and skilled NP provider to join our team at the Hemophilia Clinic of Western PA, where you’ll play a vital role in patient care, education, and outreach!   • Serve as the point clinician during medication infusions and respond to adverse reactions

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.

  • Existing bleeding disorder knowledge preferred.
  • One year of patient care experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated Pediatric experience highly preferred.
  • Hematology experience highly preferred.
  • PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner required (Must have already passed boards).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.

Must Have Skills/Abilities

  • Good clinical judgement.
  • Critical thinking skills necessary to exercise and lead others in application of

acceptable standards of practice.

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary staff, other departments, and patients/families.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment.
  • Handle multiple/changing priorities.
  • Effective oral, written, and digital communication skills.
