The Emory Critical Care Center is now hiring Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP's) and Physician Assistants (PA's) for the newly established Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) at the Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University Hospital Midtown.

Join an Innovative MSICU at Emory's Winship Cancer Institute. Be a part of a pioneering Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) specializing in the critical care treatment of patients at Emory's Winship Cancer Institute, located at Emory University Hospital Midtown. We are seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our prestigious Critical Care APP team at this specialized cancer center.
We offer flexible scheduling options, including Daytime, Nocturnist, and Rotating Day/Night roles. Typical full-time positions consist of 3 shifts per week, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.
Critical Care APP positions are open to experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP).

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Nurse Practitioner candidates must hold Acute Care certification (ACNP or AGACNP)

Join an Innovative MSICU at Emory's Winship Cancer Institute. Be a part of a pioneering Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) specializing in the critical care treatment of patients at Emory's Winship Cancer Institute, located at Emory University Hospital Midtown. We are seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our prestigious Critical Care APP team at this specialized cancer center.
We offer flexible scheduling options, including Daytime, Nocturnist, and Rotating Day/Night roles. Typical full-time positions consist of 3 shifts per week, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.
Critical Care APP positions are open to experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP).
- Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
- Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
- Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.
- Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.
- Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
- May require at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties.
- Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association is required.
