A large hospital-based cardiology program in Dayton, Ohio is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) experience for an inpatient locum tenens assignment. This role focuses on EP consults, device management, and follow-up care in a high-acuity cardiac setting.

This is a weekday-only opportunity with no weekends or holidays, ideal for APPs experienced in electrophysiology and device-based care.

Key Responsibilities

• Inpatient EP consults and follow-up care

• Manage a caseload of ~10–20 patients

• Device checks and post-procedure follow-ups

• Assist with device changes

• Independent billing for follow-up visits

• Collaborate with cardiologists and EP teams

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Friday only

• Flexible shifts: 8a–4p or 9a–5p

• $100–$120/hour (locum tenens)

• No weekends or holidays

Requirements

• NP with cardiology / EP experience

• Comfort with device checks and follow-up care

• Ability to work independently in an inpatient setting

• Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
