Job Overview

The Family Nurse Practitioner (Weekend only) will deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary and family care to patients in a retail clinic setting. Working collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team, the Nurse Practitioner will manage a panel of patients while promoting preventive care, chronic condition management, and overall patient well-being. This role reports to the Practice Manager and focuses on improving patient outcomes through accessible, patient-centered care.

Key Job Duties

Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning
Conduct routine examinations and manage patient appointments to ensure positive health outcomes
Perform diagnostic tests to support diagnosis and treatment of injuries and illnesses
Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, preventive care, and chronic disease management
Encourage patient engagement through health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care

Experience & Qualifications Required

Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
Current National Board Certification (FNP)
Active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse
Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care preferred

Dedicated Saturday and Sunday coverage
