A nonprofit organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and/or licensed Physician Assistant (PA) tojoin their team in Brooklyn as their new Primary Care Provider.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm (some flexibility)
• Setting: Satellite locations

Responsibilities:

• Provides medical care to pediatric, adolescent and adult patients, takes relevant patient history, and identifies patient needs and makes diagnoses
• Observes, implements, and promotes the federal regulations as defined by HIPAA and Policies and Procedures
• Assists the Chief Medical Officer in the development and implementation of medical protocols and medical forms
• Works collaboratively with Physicians and Specialists for consultation and referral purposes

Qualifications:

• 2+ year of relevant experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Active NYS Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Board/DEA certified with access to Medicaid
• Passion for working with underserved or at-risk populations
