Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (Georgia preferred)
• Specialized certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care, surgical, or hospital setting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Strong communication and advanced clinical skills

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced practice care to patients in the acute surgical unit
• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide clinical support for increased patient volume and provider leave coverage
• Document patient care according to facility protocols and regulatory standards
