Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Pathology

Job Details:
• Full-time (1.0 FTE) position in hospital pathology lab from February through April 2025
• Perform gross examination of biopsies and complex specimens
• Perform and stain frozen sections
• Follow procedures for allocating medical renal and/or medical muscle biopsies
• Handle approximately 250-300 blocks Monday-Friday (approximately 75-125 cases per day)
• Work with surgical excision and biopsy cases
• No rounding involved
• Must be certified Pathologist Assistant
• Must be able to perform frozen section cases and complex surgical resection cases
• (ASCP) certification required
• Work with support staff including Grossing Tech and Histology Techs
• Coverage needed for maternity leave
• No credentialing needed

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
