Position Overview
NorTek Medical Staffing is partnering with Rincon Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to recruit a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing outpatient Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) clinic in Sacramento, California.
This is an onsite role with flexible scheduling, offering comprehensive training in neurology and traumatic brain injury medicine. It is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking either part-time work-life balance or full-time stability, while developing specialized expertise in TBI-focused care.
The clinic emphasizes collaborative, patient-centered care, strong interdisciplinary support, and minimal administrative burden.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive evaluations for patients with traumatic brain injury and related neurological conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under established clinical protocols
Manage follow-up visits, symptom progression, and functional recovery
Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, athletic trainers, and clinical support staff
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
Refer patients to in-house services and specialists as clinically appropriate
No chronic opioid management required
Training & Support
Full structured training in neurology and traumatic brain injury care
Ongoing mentorship from experienced TBI-focused physicians and clinical leaders
Established workflows, documentation templates, and in-house resources

Compensation & Benefits
$80–$86 per hour, based on experience

Required Qualifications
Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
NCCPA certification (PA) or national NP certification
DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Interest in neurology, traumatic brain injury medicine, and rehabilitation
