Position Description

About The Role

  • Our client is seeking an experienced, client-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead medical consultations and ongoing care across our weight loss and wellness services.
  • This role sits at the heart of the client experience. You'll guide patients through GLP-1 programs, phentermine, hormone optimization, IV therapy, and general wellness, delivering concierge-level care while confidently recommending appropriate treatments that drive results and retention.
  • This is a great fit for a provider who understands the med spa space, values long-term relationships, and is motivated by performance, growth, and ethical revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultations & Care

Conduct Comprehensive, Unrushed Consultations For

  • GLP-1 weight loss programs
  • Phentermine and oral weight loss options
  • Hormone replacement / hormone optimization therapy
  • IV therapy, injections, and wellness add-ons
  • Lifestyle and nutrition guidance
  • Educate clients clearly on risks, benefits, expectations, and outcomes
  • Create personalized treatment roadmaps aligned with client goals

Ongoing Medical Management

  • Initiate and monitor medications
  • Order and review labs
  • Titrate HRT protocols as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EMR systems
  • Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and med spa medical policies

Client Experience & Revenue Growth

  • Deliver an exceptional, concierge-style customer experience
  • Follow up with cancelled, hesitant, or stalled leads
  • Maintain high rebooking, retention, and conversion rates
  • Ethically recommend add-ons, supplements, and complementary services
  • Collaborate with injectors and estheticians to enhance overall results

Qualifications

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA (as applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a med spa, aesthetics, weight loss, or wellness clinic
  • Proven track record of high patient satisfaction and strong consultation conversion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer Service Excellence: Warm, confident, empathetic consultation style
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of med spa flow, wellness trends, and aesthetics clientele
  • Ethical Upselling: Recommends services appropriately and responsibly
  • Brand Representation: Professional, polished ambassador of the Urban Med Spa brand
  • Results-Driven: Motivated by KPIs, incentives, and growth opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience prescribing GLP-1 medications and/or phentermine
  • Experience with peptides
  • Experience with HRT (pellet, topical, or injectable programs)
  • Familiarity with IV therapy and wellness injections
  • Background in sales- or incentive-driven clinical environments
  • EMR and med spa software proficiency
