Opening on Florida’s Space Coast

Health First is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or APRN-C) to join a busy Acute Care General Surgery service covering Cape Canaveral Hospital and Viera Hospital. This position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to work closely with experienced General Surgeons in a high-acuity, team-based environment.

Position Highlights:

• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Rotating with experienced General Surgeons
• Coverage at two facilities: Cape Canaveral Hospital and Viera Hospital
• Responsibilities include:
  • Rounding on hospital consults
  • Assisting in surgery
  • Post-operative patient management
  • Half-day post-operative clinic twice per week
• No hospital call

Qualifications:

• PA-C or APRN-C
• Board eligible or board certified
• Active Florida license required
