Facility:
This facility is a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans by providing medical evaluation services. They offer comprehensive assessment services through their own facilities and partner provider offices to ensure veterans receive timely and thorough evaluations for benefits determination.

Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • Current openings in Burlington, VT (1 day per week needed - 100 mile radius accepted) and Rutland, VT (2 days per week needed - 50 mile radius required) • Provider must have their own office to see Veterans within required radius of listed cities • Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams + separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing, no treatment • Quick credentialing & onboarding • Accepting specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • AANP certification required • Active and unrestricted full Vermont license required • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Follow up administrative work will be required (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics) • One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
