Position Overview
NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a clinically confident and autonomous Nurse Practitioner for a full-time mobile wound care opportunity serving Chicagoland. This role is within a physician-led practice built by clinicians who believe wound care should be delivered with integrity, strong support, and a clear patient-first philosophy.
This position offers the opportunity to manage a dedicated wound care panel across homes, assisted living communities, and long-term care facilities while practicing at the top of your license within a collaborative, medicine-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Treatment
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and ongoing evaluations
Diagnose and manage chronic and complex wounds using advanced treatment modalities
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Perform bedside procedures confidently and efficiently
Monitor healing progression and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Collaboration & Care Coordination
Work closely with supervising physicians within a physician-led model
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across care settings
Educate patients, families, and facility staff on wound management and prevention
Support continuity of care across multiple facilities
Documentation & Operational Excellence
Complete documentation accurately and efficiently
Utilize structured administrative support to maintain workflow efficiency
Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois
Strong clinical judgment with the ability to practice independently
Confidence performing bedside procedures and managing complex cases
Preferred Qualifications
Previous wound care experience
Experience practicing in mobile, home-based, or long-term care settings
