Job Summary:
Lone Star Neonatology is seeking board‑certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our established and growing practice supporting seven Medical City facilities across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice high‑acuity neonatal care within a collaborative, well‑resourced, and education‑focused group. Our team prides itself on delivering clinical excellence, fostering continuous learning, and supporting a healthy work‑life balance.
Our NICUs are primarily Level III with a strong and steady MFM referral base, offering a diverse and rewarding clinical experience. You will join a collegial group of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Neonatologists who rotate through several Medical City NICUs, ensuring shared knowledge, consistent practice standards, and a flexible schedule. Call is shared equally among Neonatologists, and our APPs benefit from a supportive environment grounded in evidence‑based medicine and a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualified Candidates:
- Board‑certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP‑BC)
- Texas license or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 1–2 years of NICU experience preferred; new graduates with strong NICU RN backgrounds will be considered with supportive onboarding
- Proficiency in neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and management of premature and critically ill infants
- Experience with common neonatal procedures (e.g., intubation, line placement, needle aspiration) or willingness to train and credential
- Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills in high‑acuity environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff
- Adaptability and comfort rotating through multiple Level III NICUs within the Medical City system
- Desire to work in a team‑oriented, education‑focused environment that values autonomy, collegiality, and shared decision‑making
