A busy retail clinic in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a year-long contract assignment with potential for permanent hire. This outpatient role offers a fast-paced, patient-centered environment where NPs practice autonomously while collaborating with a supportive care team.

Providers deliver evidence-based acute and primary care services, manage common illnesses, educate patients, and document care within the EHR. Weekend rotation required (5–6 weekends per 6-week scheduling period) with flexible weekday scheduling and floating between nearby clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute and primary care in a retail clinic setting

• Assess, diagnose, and treat common health conditions

• Educate patients on prevention and wellness

• Document encounters accurately in EHR

• Collaborate with clinic staff and support teams

• Float to nearby locations as needed

Qualifications

• Active Texas FNP license

• 1+ year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner

• DEA (or willingness to obtain at offer)

• Comfortable working autonomously in clinic setting

• Strong communication and patient engagement skills

Schedule & Compensation

• $75–$79 per hour

• Monday–Friday with weekend rotation

• Average 30–32.5 hours per week
