A high-volume retail clinic team in San Antonio is hiring a contract Nurse Practitioner for a long-running assignment with competitive hourly pay and consistent weekly hours. The schedule is primarily weekdays with weekend float coverage required, and the assignment may convert to temp-to-hire.

What You’ll Do

• Provide holistic, evidence-based primary and family care in a retail clinic setting
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic conditions
• Educate patients to support quality outcomes and preventive care
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond to patient inquiries throughout the day and support care coordination
• Support clinic operations by balancing clinical and non-clinical priorities as needed

Qualifications

• Active Texas NP license with FNP board certification
• 1+ year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner required
• Willingness to float to nearby locations
• Willingness to work weekend float coverage (5 to 6 weekends per 6-week schedule period)
• DEA application required at time of offer
• Strong communication and patient service mindset

Compensation & Benefits

• $75 to $79 per hour
• Monday–Friday with weekend rotation
• Average 30–32.5 hours per week
• Contract role (potential temp-to-hire)
