Anne Arundel Dermatology is a premier physician-led Dermatology practice serving communities across 7 states for more than 50 years. We are proud to offer world-class care with a patient-first philosophy and are currently seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience in Dermatology to join our team in our Fairfax, VA office which is located in Northern, VA just minutes from Washington DC!

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and busy office. Our support team is ready to work with you to provide the best care possible to the patients in our community.

Full time (32-40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care our patients deserve.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all medical protocols, standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Adhere to designated standards and protocols for medical documentation for services performed.
  • Review all new client intake forms, document client treatments and plans of care.
  • Build patient partnerships by appropriately matching patient needs to the various services and products offered and clearly educating the patient on how they will receive the most benefit.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Clinical Dermatology services and treatments
  • Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Well organized, efficient, and able to operate in a busy work environment
  • Team oriented
  • Operates in a transparent manner with integrity
  • Willingness to succeed and grow individually as well as part of a team

Licensure/Certifications/Education

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active and unrestricted State Medical license or ability to obtain
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and (CDS) for prescription writing
