This is a structured inpatient role with predictable 12-hour shifts, no operating room responsibilities, and consistent schedule stability.

Providers will manage post-operative and non-operative neurosurgical patients, perform assessments and rounding, and collaborate with neurosurgeons and multidisciplinary teams. Ideal for NPs seeking long-term locums stability without OR call or first assist duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage

Qualifications

• Active Illinois NP license (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule & Compensation

• $130–$150 per hour
