In 2010 the Institute of Medicine (IOM) shocked the healthcare community by its publication on the future of nursing. One of several recommendations to the American healthcare system was to address the shackles of oppressive barriers that restrict the APRN from practicing to his/her fullest potential.
Many, many thanks to the Athens UAPRN chapter of scholarly members in bringing this follow up report to my attention. I am attaching this document and welcome your feedback on this report!!!
