NP policy wonks and advocates -- your calls to get the inside scoop on TNP's policy efforts have been answered. On Tuesday, July 26, TNP is kicking off the first of its new quarterly Policy Call and Webinar Series. The call is open to all TNP Members, students, and the larger NP community, and is specifically tailored for those who want to know more about Texas policies impacting NPs but who are only engaged or informed about our advocacy efforts from a distance.

Event Details

Who: Erin Cusack, TNP's Director of Public Affairs

When: Tuesday, July 26 from 7:00-8:00 pm

Where: Webex (call-in instructions to follow)

Health care policy is hot right now. Whether its headlines on the opioid epidemic, the new VA proposals for APRNs, or telemedicine, health care is trending and legislators are paying attention. The call will cover some of these trending issues, an update on what other states are doing to remove restrictions for NPs, and TNP's work in the interim to prepare for the next legislative session.
