The Gwinnett Forsyth Chapter United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses

Good Morning All!

Good news! Regina Canty is a candidate for President of our chapter! As most of you know, I will be stepping down due to a relocation to Florida. We are inviting nomiations and volunteers who are interested in running for President to send me their bio with a picture. To date, Regina is the only candidate who has notified me. If you would like to be considered please send me a short bio with a picutre no later than 7 October 2016. This gives me time to get any other bios up on the website with one week for everybodys perusal. Remember, only active members can vote--this is your time to join and vote for your next president!

Regina's Bio


Regina Canty

I moved to Georgia over 34 years ago. I am originally from New York City. I have over 17 years in the healthcare profession. I received my undergrad from North Georgia College in Dahlonega and received my graduate degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. I came to work for Emory in April of 2014. Since then, I have precepted 3 Emory APRN Students and look forward to precepting more. I am passionate about the nursing profession and advocating for the Advancement of the APRN in the State of Georgia. I serve on the PAC Committee for the United Advance Practice Registered Nurses. I am also a member of the GAPNA. I have two adult daughters and a grandson. I love family time, travel, and music.
