For NPs in rural practice - a loan repayment sponsored by the Georgia Board for Physician's Workforce has become available. The purpose of this program is to grant service-cancelable loans of up to $10,000 to APRNs to repay outstanding education debt in return for advanced nursing practice in underserved rural areas in Georgia. Contracts are awarded for one year and are renewable for a maximum of four years.
