Dear Chapter Presidents and Legislative Chairs,
The Children’s Defense Fund, a national group with which NAPNAP partners, is circulating the attached letter to children’s groups on the House “American Health Care Act.” Repeating the “do no harm” theme from previous letters, this one calls on Congress to oppose per capita caps, protect Medicaid expansion, and identifies ways in which Medicaid coverage is important to children. CDF is seeking sign-ons from national, state and local organizations and multiple sectors interested in protecting children’s health. NAPNAP is signing on to this letter.
