Seeking nominations for the position of Vice President of the VNPA

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the position of Vice President has become vacant. The Vice President is elected by the VNPA membership. The elected candidate will fill the remainder of the current two-year term that will be conclude in the spring of 2019, with the option for re-election for a second term.

Duties of the Vice President include:

  • Participation as an active member of the VNPA Executive Committee
  • Regular attendance at board meetings (or remote attendance via Skype)
  • Responding to email communications
  • Serving on one programmatic committee
  • In the absence, incapacity, or inability of the President to perform his/her duties, the VP will exercise the power of the office of the President.
