Acute Pain Management in Opioid Tolerant Individuals
We welcome AANP members and non-members to a free, one-hour live webinar on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at 12:00 pm EST. Kathleen Broglio, DNP, and Maureen Cooney, DNP, will discuss Acute Pain Management in Opioid Tolerant Individuals and cover the following objectives:
  • Describe challenges with acute pain management
  • Discuss use of multimodal analgesia to treat acute pain
  • Understand strategies to improve management for opioid tolerant patients
With the increasing use and abuse of opioids, NPs must possess the skills to effectively assess and manage pain in opioid tolerant individuals.
