This week, the House Commerce Committee voted by a narrow margin (10-8) to recommend that the full House kill HB 1793, a bill to create a single-payer health care system. The House HHS Committee voted to pass HB 1471, the bill to require that the insurance reimbursement rates for telemedicine be the same as for services provided in the office. Both of these will be on the House floor next week.
