Heart for Athletes is seeking volunteers to help with a free heart screening event at Trojan Hall on the Daphne High School campus Wednesday, November 6.  The purpose of the heart screening event is to attempt to identify any pre-existing heart conditions that could potentially increase the student’s risk of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) when participating in vigorous physical activity or athletic competition. 

The primary mission of Heart for Athletes is to prevent SCA in young athletes through cardiac screenings, education, and research in the Baldwin and Mobile county areas of Alabama.
