Patty Latta is a nurse practitioner who practices at Pennsylvania Hospital at Penn Medicine. She is a NP with more than twenty years of experience currently providing care in the specialty of Cardiology. During her career she has also practiced in the Emergency Department, Family Practice and worked with Philadelphia’s homeless.  

Patty is a long-term member of PANP and served as PANP Vice Chairperson 2016-2018 prior to being appointed as our PANP Legislative Representative in 2018. In this role, Patty represents PANP interests by serving as a PCNP Board of Director. Patty drives over 200 miles to Penn State for the quarterly PCNP Executive Board meetings and is often the first to arrive! She brings back the PCNP legislative reports to PANP members at our monthly regional meetings. Patty is active on PCNP Care for PA Campaign & PCNP Membership Committees.

Patty revitalized PANP service initiatives by engaging our regional group to hold a Coat Drive for a local homeless shelter in 2018 and an even more successful Coat Drive in 2019; and worked on getting the ENP website going as part of our current steering committee!  You will often see her in our photos at the PA State Capitol since Patty never misses Lobby Day! Way to go, Patty!
