In a recent interview for Ask a Professor: How Florida’s NPs Are Fighting for Full Practice Authority, Dr Stacia M. Hays, DNP, APRN, FAANP teaches at UF Nursing and UF Archer Clinic in Alachua County and gives her view of the advocacy landscape in Florida and the urgent need for change. Dr. Stacia M. Hays is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) and the Coordinator for the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner track at the University of Florida. She is a long time FNPN member, past AANP No. FL State Rep and serves on the Executive Board of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP).
