Celebrate National Nurse Practitioner Week November 8-14, 2020!
National Nurse Practitioner Week is held annually to celebrate these exceptional health care providers and to remind lawmakers of the importance of removing outdated barriers to practice so that nurse practitioners (NPs) will be allowed to practice to the full extent of their experience and education.
Governor Jay Inslee has issued the attached proclamation in honor of NP week.
A set of resources from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners is also attached for your use next week.
Thanks to each and every nurse practitioner for your contributions to the health of the people of Washington and for your work promoting the profession. We are deeply grateful.
