As part of our ongoing efforts to serve as an advocate and resource for Missouri's nurse practitioners, AMNP actively works to identify areas where there are deficiencies or problems that we can work to resolve.

As you know, the COVID 19 pandemic is creating more stress and demand on NP's unlike anything else in our recent history. Added to the increased patient load and concern for disease transmission, stories related to inadequate PPE supplies, excessive overtime, and insufficient support mechanisms are common enough to warrant AMNP exploring these issues in further depth.
