Community Co-Chair Donalee Cushman and Membership Chair Bonnie Lanternier volunteered on August 7th with the Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) Back-to-School fair. Backpacks with grade appropriate school supplies, clothing and uniforms were distributed to families with children. Last year the event was cancelled due to the pandemic, however, this year a drive-by distribution was implemented. Pre-registered families drove up and backpacks place in their trunk. The CCSC provides a variety of programs for the community to service the poor, hungry, disable and otherwise needy while respecting their religious, ethnic or cultural differences. NAPNAP members periodically volunteer to help children and families throughout the year. Stay tuned for more volunteer opportunities
