MA BORN Issues Advisory Ruling on Certified Nurse Midwives and Certified Nurse Practitioners as Providers of Abortion

At their September 8, 2021 Board Meeting, the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing issued an advisory ruling on Certified Nurse Midwives and Certified Nurse Practitioners as Providers of Abortion . 

This purpose of the advisory is to provide guidance to CNMs and CNPs in response to the legislation passed in January, 2021:  Section 40 of Chapter 227 of the Acts of 2020.
