THIS WEEK IN REVIEW:

The second committee week of the 2022 Florida Legislative Session ended today. The House and Senate continued to committee meetings, but again were filled with presentations. State agencies presented their Legislative Budget Requests to lawmakers and also updated them on how the laws signed this year were affecting their operations. More bills and appropriations requests were slowly being filed this week, however there didn’t seem to be any urgency to fill up bill slots yet with three more committee weeks to go before session.
