I would like to arrange for one or both of our State Legislators to come to Macon County and visit some of the Nurse Practitioner managed practices during the summer or fall (while they are not in session). If our legislators see first hand the types of practices we have and care we offer, it will help them greatly in their ability to make well informed legislative decisions when in session regarding advanced nursing practice and the community in which we serve. In addition, we can build our relationship with them, and they can get to know us personally. Please let me know if you would be willing to have them visit your practice, and I will go forward with contacting their offices to see when something could be set up.
