Legislative action approved 4/12/2024. This law empowers Pharmacists and Nurse practitioners to address urgent insulin needs, enhancing patient safety and well-being. NP's need to be aware of the limitations set by this Bill and the restriction of a one-time emergency refill of one vial of insulin and insulin related supplies or equipment to treat diabetes mellitus, not to exceed three nonsonsecutive times per calendar year.  Effective  July 1, 2024.
