HELLO ALL:  This is your opportunity to assist NPARI in support of 2 bills that will be heard on Tuesday, April 23 in the Senate Finance Committee, Room 211, RI State House. I would love members to attend the hearing, to see the process.

The bills are attached.   S2716, supports state reimbursement for preceptors who precept primary care NP, PA, Medical students in primary care settings.

S2717 will provide scholarships for these students who agree to stay in RI and continue practicing in primary care settings after graduation. 

This involves EVERYONE receiving this notice!!

and send a letter, to the chair of the committee, Senator Louis DiPalma, introducing yourself as an NP, a member of NPARI and that you are in support of the 2 bills.
