The New Jersey Palliative Care APN Consortium joined over 260 organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA), the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM), and the American Nurses Association (ANA), in signing a letter of strong support for the Improving Care and Access to Nurses (ICAN) Act. The letter was submitted on March 7 to the House and Senate Committees of jurisdiction, advocating for improved care access through expanded nursing roles.
