We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Chicagoland Chapter GAPNA meeting on Thursday, November 20th at 6:00 PM at Firehouse Grill in Evanston.

The evening will begin with an educational presentation titled:

Mapping the Patient Journey: Evidence for LAIs in the Management of Schizophrenia

Presenter: Courtney Leinen, MSN, PMHNP-BC, Teva Medical

Learning Objectives:

• Describe the epidemiology, clinical course, and consequences of relapse and patient adherence to oral antipsychotics

• Discuss adherence, relapse, and neuropathological outcomes with oral versus LAI antipsychotics

• Review guidelines and expert consensus on barriers to LAI usage

• Examine the impact of early intervention with LAI antipsychotics

Following the presentation, we will hold our chapter meeting.
