Proposed Rules related to advanced practice nurses and prescriptive authority for scheduled medications is attached along with a draft of the application. This was sent to you 15 days ago but I am resending in case you did not read it then.  PLEASE read carefully. A public hearing is scheduled for July 18th (TOMORROW) in Montgomery  at the offices of the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners-- directions and or the address may be found at their website at the following link:  http://www.albme.org/

If you have comments but cannot attend please forward comments to me (email below) no later than noon tomorrow.  I will be attending with others from NPAA to represent your positions related to this important issue.
