Southern Gulf Coast Nurse Practitioner mourns the loss of our member, colleague , friend and mentor Dr Marydelle Polk. Dr. Polk was a pioneer and advocate of nurse practitioner education. Her legacy will live on in the many nurse practitioners practicing in our community because of her inspiration. In her honor our upcoming conference will be dedicated to her pride and committment to quality education. Our heavy hearts and sympathy go out to her family and extended family. She will be deeply missed.
