Dear CANP colleague,

 The San Diego CANP Board of Directors is looking for members who may be interested in participating as a chapter delegate in the 2012 House of Delegates.  This is a great opportunity to act as a representative for your chapter and to have a voice in establishing the professional policies of CANP. Additionally, it allows for networking with others NPs from throughout the state.

The House of Delegates will meet all day Monday, February 27 and Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in the morning at the Sacramento Hyatt Capitol Park, Sacramento in conjunction with Lobby Day.  The meeting is planned to start around 8 AM, so you will need to consider arriving to Sacramento on Sunday evening.  It will not be affiliated with the Annual Conference this year.   We encourage you to extend your leadership enthusiasm by staying through Tuesday afternoon to participate in Lobby Day.  Travel expenses will be reimbursed.    According to CANP Bylaws, delegates must be current active members (full or Senior) to be qualified to vote.
