As we come to the end of the Nurse Practitioners of New York (NPNY) 2013-2014 year in May, it is time for us to nominate leadership, board and committee chairs to serve the organization for our 2014-2015 season. Why should you consider volunteering for and/or nominating one of your colleagues?

• Receive a "statement of service" for your active participation as a committee member, committee chair, board member or as NPNY leadership
  
  
• Meet ANCC Professional Development requirements needed for certification renewal through 2 or more years of volunteer service with a professional organization
  
  
• Advance your career by learning organizational leadership skills within the supportive environment of NP colleagues and mentors
