Over 118,000 school aged children on Long Island go to bed hungry each day. These same children are in need of school supplies. A proper meal + school supplies = the tools needed for a successful future.

Your collected donations will be distributed from our Hauppauge and Freeport offices through the “School Tools Showrooms”. Our showrooms are designed to be a free “shopping” experience. Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank also distributes to over 550 non profit organizations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
