It's hard to believe that Summer is on its way out and colorful Autumn is upon us.  This is an exciting new year is ahead of us.  Welcome Back to all established NPA members and new members!  There is much to celebrate this year as we look forward to the enactment of our hard fought win of the legislation that provides for the Elimination of Practice Barriers for experienced NPs.  It is because of YOU, our loyal membership, and our lobbyists and so many hard working folks behind the scenes, that this legislation finally came to fruition.

It's not too late to sign up for our first education/business meeting of the year, to be held next week, 9/9/14, at the Craftsman Inn in Fayetteville, NY. We have an exciting list of educational presentations in the upcoming months as part of our monthly dinner meetings.  Check also the list of upcoming confernces locally here in CNY, especially The 30th Annual NYS NPA Conference to be held in Saratoga Springs 10/22-10/26.  Register early, conference space and lodging in the area is limited.

Lastly, enjoy the remaining days of summer and consider becoming actively involved in our local chapter. There is strength in numbers, talent and diversity.
