The leaders of the GAPP committee need the name and district number of your state senator ASAP because we have a proposed amendment to be introduced in the Senate that we are not in favor of. The amendment would require three years of  experience as an RN or APRN to qualify for the 1000 hours mentorship post graduation before getting prescriptive authority. Without the 3 years experience the required hours would be 1800. This amendment would create unneeded obstacles that research consistently shows are not necessary for safe practice, and would make the law messy which we are trying to avoid.
