From FNPN:Breaking News: HB 547 passed through the Health Innovation Committe this morning after a vigorous debate.

HB 547 Allows ARNPs independent practice, controlled substances prescriptive authority and Baker Act authority for Psych Certified NPs.FNPN has been working closely with Rep. Dr. Pigman and his staff as well as our lobbyist Allison Carvajal to craft this bill and move it forward in committee. Board members Jean Aertker and Pam Johnson were in attendance for this hearing waving in support when the bill passed 9-4!
