Professional Achievements:

I have been a successful Emergency Room Nurse for the past 4 years. I have taken the TNCC course and worked as a Trauma Nurse for 2 years. I am also going into my third year at Drexel University as an FNP student. I consider these facts to be my greatest achievements since becoming a nurse.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

As an Emergency Room Nurse I have mainly worked in urban city areas. I feel I have taken care of a wide range of patients. Most people utilize the ER for their primary care needs, especially the homeless and low-income patients. I love feeling as though I’m making a difference in this community that goes beyond nursing. Being a compassionate human being is my favorite thing about my job.

Virtues:

One of my main virtues right now is the fact that I am working in North Philadelphia and my hospital is located in the heart of the the opioid epidemic. I love the fact that I am apart of the relief and support effort in the resolution of this problem in our nation.
