Professional Achievements:
My professional achievements includes starting up a practice for clinical site needed for hands on education and realistic experience through direct patient care.I have the honor to precept nurse practitioner students from Howard University and Bowie State University. In addition, I also serve as a mentor to new nurse practitioner students who are new to the profession. My practice is available to DNP students for clinical rotation to implement evidence-based nursing and advance clinical judgment to assess, design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based care. Students utilize the skills acquired to analyze intricate clinical and organizational issues in order to facilitate collaborative interdisciplinary team functioning in clinical or educational environments. Staring up the practice and implementing such great ideas, gives me hope and satisfaction.
Favorite Thing About My Profession:
